Our minor ailment service is a service that provides advice and treatment for minor illnesses and complaints. Our pharmacists can help with a range of minor ailments.

The NHS Minor Ailment Service is available at our pharmacy for children, people aged 60 or over, people who hold a medical exemption certificate, and people on certain benefits. If you are exempt from paying prescription charges, you don't have to pay for the medicine.
Minor illnesses are conditions that can be self-treated or are uncomplicated, and don't require further investigation. For example, colds and influenza can be treated by taking paracetamol for fever or aching, and drinking plenty of fluids.
